At GS-Solar, we internally design, develop, assemble and test substantially all of our key solar module manufacturing equipment including the core plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD) and physical vapor deposition (PVD) tools, which are considered the most critical and fundamental pieces of equipment for the manufacturing of our thin film solar modules.
Our strong research and development capabilities have enabled us to develop advanced process technologies and critical production equipment that allow us to manufacture thin film solar modules cost-effectively and on a large scale. The internal equipment manufacturing capabilities and our ability to control end-to-end manufacturing process enable us to achieve high quality and cost control, speedy production ramp-up, and rapid commercialization of our technology improvement.
